Critical Notice: Upgrade Required for Sunways Portal Monitoring Platform
We wish to inform you of a crucial update regarding the release of the new version of our Sunways Portal monitoring platform. This update introduces a revamped operational interface, an improved detail page, and a more intuitive representation of your data. However, to ensure an uninterrupted transition to the new platform, we need to highlight several essential points:
1. Update Your App:
Older versions of our app will not be compatible with the new platform. Please be aware that there will be no automatic update reminders for the old app. To continue enjoying seamless monitoring, kindly uninstall the old version and install the new 3.0 version. For both Google Play and Apple Store, search for "Sunways Portal" and download the correct version, which is 3.0.
2. Data Migration:
During the migration to the new platform, previous historical data will be cleared. Rest assured, however, that all historical data has been appropriately counted and statistically migrated to the new platform.
3. Data Retention:
The curve data on the new platform will be stored for a period of 6 months. After this time, data older than 6 months will be automatically cleared. We recommend informing your users of this and, if necessary, encouraging them to make a backup within this storage window.
4. Recognition Delay:
On the day of the platform switch, there may be a delay in device recognition. Please allow up to 24 hours for the devices to recognize and connect to the new platform. If issues persist, a simple device restart may be necessary.
To guarantee a seamless experience, we kindly request you to promptly inform installers and end-users about these crucial points before the platform switch.
